Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John St Clair (ranked 3055 p4p, 3232 weight class) and Syngin Colchester (ranked 400 p4p, 418 weight class). St Clair comes to the cage accompanied by March of the Templars. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John St Clair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Syngin Colchester! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colchester scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Colchester misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Colchester shoots in and gets a takedown into St Clair's guard. St Clair wants to get back to his feet but Colchester passes into half guard.
Colchester working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. St Clair is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Colchester scores with a couple of nice shots. Colchester not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Colchester looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Colchester is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Colchester content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colchester seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. St Clair knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Colchester on the ground. Colchester is controlling the pace.
Colchester looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks St Clair with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Colchester scoring with strikes to the body and head. Colchester is taking a breather. St Clair says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. St Clair is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Colchester scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Colchester content to control rather than advance. Colchester lands strikes from half guard. Colchester controlling the action here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Ground and pound from Colchester.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colchester looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Colchester working the head and body with strikes. Colchester scores with a couple of good hammerfists. St Clair wants to control but Colchester is keeping busy and won't allow it. Colchester winds up and cracks St Clair with a swinging punch to the side of the head. St Clair scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Colchester manages to mount him!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Colchester dominating with strikes here. Colchester controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Colchester lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Syngin Colchester dominated that round. That's time! St Clair's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Colchester lands a nice hook to St Clair's body. St Clair takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Colchester rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but St Clair moves out of range and avoids them all easily. St Clair looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Colchester throws a series of punches but St Clair avoids them all with ease. St Clair takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like John St Clair has been cut. Syngin Colchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Colchester throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Colchester lands with a good body shot. St Clair takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Colchester swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Colchester is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Clair takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Colchester throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Colchester has his takedown stuffed and St Clair counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Colchester will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A counter left hand to the body from St Clair misses its target. Colchester shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Colchester with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Colchester lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colchester works his way into side control. St Clair is being controlled here. Colchester creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Colchester cracks St Clair with an elbow. That is naaassty. Colchester working the ground and pound. St Clair gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Colchester dominating with strikes here. Colchester has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of St Clair's face.
Colchester lands a big shot there that rocks St Clair but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

St Clair is rocked! Colchester pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Oh St Clair is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Colchester cracks St Clair with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
