The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald swings for the body but Petrov moves out of range.
Petrov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Petrov feints a jab promting McDonald to slip. Petrov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McDonald slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dave McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McDonald lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
