Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Beneke (ranked 3289 p4p, 2915 weight class) and Khamzat Sonnen (ranked 404 p4p, 375 weight class). Sonnen has chosen ТИМУР МУЦУРАЕВ - В ТУ НОЧЬ КОГДА РОЖДАЛИС as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Beneke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khamzat Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Jrvilinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen darts in and clinches Beneke up against the cage.
Beneke working hard to break the clinch.
Sonnen has Beneke pressed against the cage, preventing Beneke from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sonnen pulls guard.
Sonnen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beneke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Beneke trying to move into half guard but instead Sonnen has managed to sweep!
Sonnen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sonnen seems to have locked his on tight now - Beneke screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sonnen, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Khamzat Sonnen!
A very excited looking Khamzat Sonnen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
