Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pete Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macnamara connects with a crisp jab.
Macnamara lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Macnamara will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Roberts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Roberts decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Macnamara's guard.

Macnamara takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
