Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Shoenfeld (ranked 938 p4p, 27 weight class) and Kazuo Takashi (ranked 103 p4p, 6 weight class). Takashi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 吉田兄弟 Rising. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Shoenfeld!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kazuo Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoenfeld misses with a looping right.
Takashi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shoenfeld at a distance.
Takashi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shoenfeld, pushing him back against the cage.
Shoenfeld is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Takashi to keep the fight standing.
Shoenfeld wants the takedown. Takashi is fighting it off but Shoenfeld persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Takashi's guard against the cage.
Shoenfeld stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takashi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shoenfeld wants to control from the top but Takashi keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shoenfeld pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Takashi is keeping the position for now.
Takashi wants to sweep here but Shoenfeld controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shoenfeld trying to move into half guard but instead Takashi has managed to sweep!
Takashi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takashi is looking to take a break and control but Shoenfeld is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Takashi tries to move into full mount but can't pass Shoenfeld's legs.
Shoenfeld is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takashi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Shoenfeld!
Shoenfeld tries to improve his position but Takashi has taken his back! Takashi has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Shoenfeld tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Takashi pushes Shoenfeld away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kazuo Takashi! Kazuo Takashi retains his featherweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Kazuo Takashi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
