3 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Jonas Baijllknusar! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baijllknusar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Chis is trying to maintain the position but Baijllknusar is very close to passing his half guard. Baijllknusar is controlling the pace.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Baijllknusar! Baijllknusar avoids a series of strikes thrown by Chis.

Baijllknusar tries to lock up and control but Chis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Baijllknusar manages to avoid the submission attempt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Baijllknusar works over Chis's head and body with a nice combination. Baijllknusar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baijllknusar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Baijllknusar is pulling down on Chis's head. It's preventing any offense from Chis, at least for the moment.

Jonas Baijllknusar has got the better of the ground game so far.
