Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Jaeger (ranked 2586 p4p, 1859 weight class) and Roger Sparr (ranked 327 p4p, 261 weight class). Frank Jaeger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Jaeger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roger Sparr! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaeger pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sparr clinches with his opponent.
Sparr pulls guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sparr can do anything to dispel that myth. Sparr lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sparr trying to control but Jaeger is working from the bottom. Sparr stopping the sweep attempt from Jaeger. Sparr postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sparr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Roger Sparr dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Jaeger misses with a body kick. Sparr cracks Jaeger with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sparr has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Jaeger tries to land a body kick and Sparr counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sparr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sparr is trying to control the action in half guard but Jaeger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jaeger wants to control but Sparr is keeping busy.

Jaeger is trying to get back to half guard. Jaeger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sparr on the ground. Sparr looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sparr is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jaeger's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sparr lands a few punches from side control. Jaeger prevents Sparr from improving position. Sparr wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jaeger, who protects the arm well. Jaeger tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jaeger stops Sparr from passing to mount. Sparr lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jaeger down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaeger looks to move to half guard but instead Sparr has passed into mount! Damn! BOOM! Sparr connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sparr scoring with strikes but Jaeger is staying in there. Sparr is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jaeger can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jaeger is rocked! Sparr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sparr postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Jaeger out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Sparr goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
