Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyron Usman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tane Kapua!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kapua swivels and escapes.
Kapua lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Usman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kapua cracks Usman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kapua has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Usman to stand back up!
Usman is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kapua throws a pinpoint strike between Usman's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Usman crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Kapua scores a great knockout victory!
