Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob McDonald (ranked 165 p4p, 2 weight class) and Kilo Maluga (ranked 7 p4p, 1 weight class). McDonald comes to the cage accompanied by Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother. Maluga has chosen JUNGLE as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bob McDonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kilo Maluga!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maluga misses with an attempted mid kick.
Good shot there by McDonald.
It looks like Kilo Maluga has been cut.
McDonald thuds his right hand into Maluga's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McDonald tries to move into range but Maluga moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Jim Bob McDonald has been cut.
Maluga has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McDonald tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jim Bob McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonald throws a lazy uppercut
and Maluga counters with a nice low kick that buckles McDonald's knee momentarily.
McDonald lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That kick from Maluga tenderised McDonald's leg. McDonald is trying to keep his angry face on.
McDonald tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maluga was well out of range. Poor timing from McDonald.
A little jabbing left from Maluga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McDonald takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maluga lands a big uppercut and McDonald crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McDonald looks OK. Maluga waves McDonald back to his feet!
McDonald is rocked!
McDonald throws a lazy uppercut
and Maluga counters with a body kick that stops McDonald in his tracks momentarily.
Oh McDonald is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDonald is breathing heavily.
Maluga turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McDonald loads up on a big right hand but Maluga slips the punch.
Maluga swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McDonald seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McDonald misses with a body punch
and Maluga counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kilo Maluga!
During a confident post fight interview, Kilo Maluga thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Jim Bob McDonald spoke after the fight, saying 'A country boy can survive'.
