Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Doback (ranked 2027 p4p, 5204 weight class) and Jan Skrzetuski (ranked 260 p4p, 567 weight class). Skrzetuski has chosen Krzesimir Dębski - Husaria Ginie as his entrance music. Dale Doback has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dale Doback! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Skrzetuski! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skrzetuski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Jan Skrzetuski has been cut. Doback ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Doback is looking to counter punch. Doback has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight. Doback throws a jab when Skrzetuski was well out of range. Doback misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skrzetuski.
Skrzetuski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Doback counters with a straight right hand. A jab from Doback misses. Doback cracks Skrzetuski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Doback lands with a cross. Doback steps into range and cracks Skrzetuski with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Skrzetuski flops backwards and Doback dives into his guard looking to finish!
Skrzetuski is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doback decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Skrzetuski, up you get! Skrzetuski is still on wobbly legs! Can Doback finish him? Doback fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Skrzetuski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Doback slips a jab from Skrzetuski. Doback feinted there with a counter leg kick. Skrzetuski seems to have recovered his senses. Doback rushes Skrzetuski and presses him up against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Doback fails to land. Skrzetuski blocks a body shot from Doback. Skrzetuski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Skrzetuski throws a leg kick and Doback lands a stunning uppercut that sends Skrzetuski to the mat!
That has opened up Jan Skrzetuski's cut even more. Doback escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skrzetuski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Skrzetuski throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Doback counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jan Skrzetuski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doback takes the fight into the clinch. Skrzetuski throws a head punch that misses. Doback misses with the head strike.
Skrzetuski is trying to push Doback away but Doback has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Skrzetuski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Doback lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Skrzetuski at a distance.
Doback moves into range and clinches up with Skrzetuski. Doback lands with a right to the head. Doback working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The cut above Jan Skrzetuski's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Doback throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Skrzetuski blocks it with crossed arms. Doback scores with a nice hook to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Doback as Skrzetuski tries to tie him up. Skrzetuski avoiding damage as Doback throws knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice elbow from Doback. Doback tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Skrzetuski avoids it. Skrzetuski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Doback throws a knee to the head but misses.
Skrzetuski tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Come on Skrzetuski - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Doback. Doback tries to land knees in the clinch but Skrzetuski avoids the damage to the body. Skrzetuski has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Doback seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Skrzetuski can turn it around. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Skrzetuski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doback lands a hook that snaps the head of Skrzetuski backwards. Skrzetuski working hard to break the clinch. Skrzetuski on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Doback lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Doback lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jan Skrzetuski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Doback lands a shoulder strike. Skrzetuski managing to block the knees to the body from Doback.
Skrzetuski trying to control the position but instead, Doback has worked for underhooks and has pushed Skrzetuski into the cage. Skrzetuski wants to get back to striking at distance but Doback won't allow it.
Skrzetuski throws a head punch that misses. Skrzetuski is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Doback is keeping busy. Doback is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Doback content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dale Doback! After winning the bout, Dale Doback thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
