Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Durant Perkins (ranked 3977 p4p, 4348 weight class) and Jovi Dufren (ranked 431 p4p, 462 weight class). And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jovi Dufren!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins misses with a wild body shot.
Dufren on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Jovi Dufren has been cut.
Perkins scores with a nice right hand.
Perkins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dufren's head.
Perkins swings widly with a right hand
and Perkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dufren throws a hook to the side of Perkins's head but Perkins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Perkins connects with a nice cross there... Dufren is looking wobbly and Perkins recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Dufren to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Perkins jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
