The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bakugo. De Fiore does a little dance to reset his feet.
Katsuki Bakugo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bakugo.
De Fiore misses with a hook. Bakugo ducked under it nicely.
Bakugo cracks a nice hook into De Fiore's ribs.
De Fiore doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bakugo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and De Fiore counters with a straight right hand.
Bakugo misses with a straight left.

De Fiore cracks Bakugo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. De Fiore has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bakugo to stand back up!

Bakugo is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Are you kidding me?! De Fiore ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Bakugo clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
