Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Orest Kyrylyuk (ranked 25530 p4p, 24712 weight class) and Jay Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Steven has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orest Kyrylyuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Steven!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steven feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Steven drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steven jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kyrylyuk wants to stand and escape but Steven is having none of it.
Kyrylyuk working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Steven.
Steven stays in close to Kyrylyuk's body and controls the position.
Kyrylyuk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steven is standing up over Kyrylyuk. Kyrylyuk looks to escape but Steven dives into side control.
Kyrylyuk tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Steven lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Kyrylyuk.
Steven is riding his opponent, not letting Kyrylyuk buck him off.

Steven is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kyrylyuk has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Kyrylyuk looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Kyrylyuk takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Steven punishes Kyrylyuk with strikes from the back mount.
Kyrylyuk is trying to stand back up.
Steven controlling the position well here. Kyrylyuk rolled but Steven kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Kyrylyuk is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Steven gets his way!

Steven has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Kyrylyuk.
Kyrylyuk is trying to stand back up.

Steven is cranking Kyrylyuk's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kyrylyuk! He's tightened the choke and Kyrylyuk is tapping out!
