Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alpa Chino (ranked 2553 p4p, 4399 weight class) and Bum Phillips (ranked 338 p4p, 519 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpa Chino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bum Phillips! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillips misses with a wild combination.
Chino tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Phillips manages to circle out of the way. Chino shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Phillips is trying to defend but Chino finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Chino seems to be working for a kimura but Phillips defends the submission attempt. Chino is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chino wants to control but Phillips is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chino throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Phillips trying to hold on to Chino's head to control him but Chino postures up.
Chino content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chino throwing shots but Phillips is blocking nicely. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Chino prevents Phillips from improving his position. Chino trying to control the action but Phillips is working from the bottom. Phillips regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chino. Chino postures up.
Chino working some strikes from top position. Phillips keeping full guard, as Chino tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chino is working hard here to advance position. Chino has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Chino trying to control but Phillips is working from the bottom. Chino throws a big right hand that misses. Chino tries to free his leg and advance position but Phillips is retaining full guard. Chino throws an elbow that misses. Phillips uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chino's guard. Nice move by Phillips!
Chino is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Phillips rolls with it to try and escape but Chino cranks on the arm and Phillips is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
