Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sky Genie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genie moves in looking to clinch but Ramos pushes him off.
Despite the aggression on Ramos's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Genie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Sky Genie has been cut.
Genie closes the distance but Ramos moves to the side
and Ramos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ramos.

Ramos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ramos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Genie, who protects the arm well.

Ramos has hold of Genie's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Genie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ramos cranks the arm and Genie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Genie, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Hector Ramos!
Hector Ramos spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
