Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Thunder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Bull! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Thunder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thunder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bull has his hands on Thunder's head, controlling the position. Bull striking off his back but it's not causing Thunder any problems. Bull looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Thunder thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thunder postures up.
Thunder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thunder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Thunder wants to control from the top but Bull keeps moving. Thunder slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Bull. Thunder seems to be working for a kimura but Bull defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bull is trying to get back to full guard. Well, if Thunder is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Thunder passes to side control. Bull tries to strike from the bottom but misses. You can see the frustration on Bull's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Thunder tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bull manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Thunder moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Thunder looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Thunder is breathing heavily. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bull postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bull wants to pass the guard but Thunder is keeping the position. Bull trying to control the position from guard on top but Thunder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing. Thunder is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Thunder is looking to take a break and control but Bull is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Thunder is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bull is just riding it out for now. Thunder eventually gives up the hold. Bull keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bull works his way to full guard. Good work. Thunder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Thunder pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bull is keeping the position for now. Bull throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Bull should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bull manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bull lands a heavy elbow. Bull landing strikes, looking to finish! Bull lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Thunder hang on? Thunder takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Thunder is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bull looking to finish Thunder with some ground and pound. This is bad for Thunder! Thunder is looking to get to half guard. A nice elbow there by Bull. Bull looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Thunder is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bull trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bull raining down shots from the mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Terry Bull will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thunder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bull sprawls well initially but Thunder persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bull wants to control but Thunder is keeping busy and won't allow it. Thunder is looking to advance position but Bull won't allow it. Thunder is trying to work for a kimura but Bull is defending well.
Thunder working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bull's thigh. Bull counters though and makes it back to full guard. Bull wants to sweep but no luck. Thunder wants to control from the top but Bull keeps moving. Thunder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Thunder trying to control but Bull is working from the bottom. Bull looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Thunder with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bull works his foot free and advances to mount. Thunder tries to hold on but Bull postures up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Thunder regains half guard. Thunder is looking to improve his position.
Bull lands strikes from half guard. Bull tries to pass the half guard into mount. Thunder knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Thunder wants to control the position but Bull says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Bull prevents Thunder from improving his position. Bull performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Thunder makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Thunder. Thunder looking for a guillotine here but Bull defends easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Thunder working for a triangle but Bull defends it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thunder trying to control the position.

Johnny Thunder dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Thunder shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bull as he avoids it easily. Thunder avoids the body shot from Bull.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bull.
Thunder misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bull connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thunder momentarily.
Bull stuffs the takedown attempt from Thunder. Thunder gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Thunder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bull clinches up against the cage. Thunder goes for a takedown attempt but Bull pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A good leg kick by Bull. Bull connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bull keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thunder. Bull fails to land with a series of punches.
Thunder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bull as he jumps to the side. Thunder scores with a takedown into Bull's guard. Bull pulls Thunder in close to prevent any damage. Thunder drops back looking for a leg! Bull is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bull manages to kick Thunder off! Thunder jumps back into Bull's guard. Bull keeping full guard, as Thunder tries to pass. Thunder working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Thunder with a nice head shot there. Thunder drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bull dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Thunder looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bull stands up from Thunder's guard - Bull perhaps looking for a knockout. Bull lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Johnny Thunder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bull throws a right and a left that Thunder avoids nicely. Thunder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bull but Bull pushes him off and we're back to square one. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bull - that will leave a mark!
Bull will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Thunder gets a clinch. Thunder tries to pull guard but Bull won't allow it.

Thunder drops back looking for a leg! Bull is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bull manages to kick Thunder off! Thunder jumps back into Bull's guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Thunder passes easily into side control. Nice work. Thunder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bull knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. You can see the frustration on Bull's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Thunder is working to tighten is grip on Bull's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bull has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Thunder is really squeezing tight and eventually Bull passes out! Thunder breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
