Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Lima (ranked 1877 p4p, 2877 weight class) and Luke Bowy (ranked 264 p4p, 384 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tiago Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luke Bowy!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lima rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bowy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bowy slips a straight right by Lima.
Lima sends Bowy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lima is motioning to the referee to let Bowy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Luke Bowy has been cut.
Lima takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lima throws a lazy uppercut
and Bowy finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Bowy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lima keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bowy.
Bowy looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lima rushes Bowy with punches - Bowy moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Bowy goes down! Lima follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiago Lima!
Tiago Lima decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
