The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guvan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from De Moncey.
De Moncey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Guvan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten De Moncey somewhat.
Guvan tries to counter with a clinch but De Moncey shakes him off and moves away.
De Moncey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Guvan scores with a nice head shot.
Guvan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by De Moncey.

De Moncey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Guvan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. De Moncey is in Guvan's guard.
Guvan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and De Moncey manages to pass to side control.

De Moncey has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Guvan defend it? De Moncey steps over the head and cranks it - Guvan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for De Moncey!
