Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Okafor (ranked 905 p4p, 1109 weight class) and Jim Longchain (ranked 135 p4p, 160 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Longchain!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Okafor.
Longchain avoids the head kick by Okafor.
Longchain drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Okafor misses with a jab to the body
and Longchain counters with a straight right hand.
Okafor throws an overhand right that lands on Longchain's shoulder, as Longchain tries to avoid the shot.
Longchain takes a swing at Okafor's ribcage but misses.
Okafor throws a right and a left that Longchain avoids nicely.
Okafor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Longchain blocks a jab.
Longchain jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Okafor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Longchain thinking.
John Okafor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okafor throws a sloppy head kick and Longchain moves out of range easily.
Longchain connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A slow jab from Okafor misses its intended target.

Longchain fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Okafor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Longchain manages to avoid it.
Longchain takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Okafor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Okafor throws a push kick but Longchain slaps the foot to one side.

Longchain throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Okafor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Longchain is in Okafor's guard.

Okafor wriggles free and stands up.

Okafor jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Okafor misses with a head kick.
Longchain tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Okafor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Longchain moves away.
Longchain throws a hook but Okafor blocks it.
Okafor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Longchain under the eye.
Okafor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Longchain fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Okafor to the ground. Longchain is now in Okafor's guard.

Okafor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Longchain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Okafor works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Okafor controls Longchain momentarily but Longchain frees himself.
Okafor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Okafor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Okafor is stalling here. Longchain is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Okafor seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Longchain has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Longchain in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Okafor tries to bench press Longchain off him but Longchain keeps the position.
Longchain grinds an elbow into Okafor's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Longchain is thwarting Okafor's attempts to control the position.

Longchain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Okafor wants to get back to full guard.
Okafor wants to control but Longchain is keeping busy.
Okafor flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Longchain seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Okafor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Okafor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Longchain is working away from the top position though.
Longchain wants to control but Okafor is keeping him busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Okafor tries to get to full guard but Longchain has control of the leg.
Okafor wants to get back to his feet.
Longchain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Okafor's head.

Longchain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Okafor is looking for a sweep. Longchain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Okafor is trying to stand back up but Longchain is controlling him

Longchain wants to free his trapped foot but Okafor is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Okafor is trying is best to control the position here.

That was a close round but I would say that John Okafor will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Okafor takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Okafor throws a nice looking combination but Longchain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Okafor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Longchain with the counter takedown but Okafor avoids it easily.
Okafor jabs Longchain right on the nose. Longchain blinks but takes it well.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Okafor.

and Longchain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Okafor throws a right hand that Longchain ducks under and follows up with a left that Longchain also avoids with ease.
Okafor takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Longchain thuds a left hand into Okafor's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Longchain counters with a stiff right hand.

Okafor is rocked!
Longchain's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Okafor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Longchain scrambles back to his feet.
Okafor scores with a one two! Longchain had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Longchain lands a nice looking body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Longchain thinks about the counter body kick.
John Okafor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Longchain tests Okafor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oh Okafor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Longchain throws a hook to the side of Okafor's head but Okafor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Okafor seems to have got his legs back now.

and Longchain scores with a counter punch that sends Okafor to the canvas! Longchain smells blood - he's punishing Okafor with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Okafor has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Longchain!
A less than humble Jim Longchain misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
