The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho tries to clinch but TheLostSon is having none of it.
TheLostSon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Carvalho moves in looking to clinch but TheLostSon pushes him off.
Carvalho steps to the side to avoid the strikes from TheLostSon.
TheLostSon throws a chopping leg kick but Carvalho manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Carvalho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. TheLostSon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
TheLostSon thuds his shin into the meat of Carvalho's side.
Carvalho closes the distance but TheLostSon moves to the side

and TheLostSon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Carvalho!
