Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kapitan Bomba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerome Wood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kapitan Bomba! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bomba drives through and clinches with Wood against the cage.
Wood wants a takedown but no success here.
Bomba prevents the takedown attempt.
Bomba jumps guard but Wood stands there with Bomba around his waist. Bomba gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wood has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bomba clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wood lands shots from the back. Bomba trying to control the action but Wood just sinks the hooks in. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wood has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Bomba. Bomba trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Wood has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bomba's body.

Right on cue, Wood cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wood with shots to the head and body - Bomba looks very uncomfortable down there. Wood breaks from Bomba's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wood lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bomba is rocked! Bomba taking shots to the head. Wood lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bomba hang on? Bomba in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Wood lands a big elbow. Wood looking to control and managing it successfully. Wood wants to control the pace but Bomba is squirming around nicely. Wood raining down shots from the mount! Jerome Wood dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wood tries for a takedown but Bomba sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bomba stuffs the takedown. Wood fails to land with a series of punches.

Wood takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wood wants to control but Bomba is keeping him busy. Bomba is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wood's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wood's back!

Bomba lands a couple of digs. Wood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. That's two minutes gone in the round. Wood keeping full guard, as Bomba tries to pass. Wood has control of Bomba's left arm, preventing Bomba from doing any damage. Bomba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wood swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wood scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wood throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Wood lands a decent elbow from side control. Wood cracks Bomba with a big right hand but Bomba just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bomba shoots in and bounces Wood off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bomba trying to control the position from guard on top but Wood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wood is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Wood working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bomba's head. Wood keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bomba's head. Wood works a leg free and moves into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wood trying to control from half guard but Bomba is working away. Wood thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bomba's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jerome Wood will probably get the nod. That's time! Wood's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
