Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fien Arjan (ranked 4876 p4p, 6589 weight class) and Ping Lacson (ranked 0 p4p, 568 weight class). The key to victory for Fien Arjan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fien Arjan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ping Lacson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arjan gets a clinch.

Arjan breaks from the clinch.
Lacson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arjan tries to avoid it but Lacson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arjan to the ground. Arjan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lacson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Arjan circles away.
Lacson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Arjan counters with a series of strikes. Lacson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fien Arjan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ping Lacson.

Arjan instigates a clinch.
Lacson prevents the takedown attempt.
Lacson is working for takedown but Arjan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lacson goes for a takedown attempt but Arjan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lacson dives in for a single leg takedown but Arjan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lacson looks winded!

Lacson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lacson lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Arjan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lacson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lacson is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lacson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Arjan wants to sweep but no luck.
Lacson is in close to Arjan's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lacson passes Arjan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
