Lutter comes to the cage accompanied by Island Boy. Travis Lutter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Patryk Donald's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Travis Lutter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Patryk Donald!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donald moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lutter dives in for a single leg takedown but Donald sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Donald breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lutter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Donald counters with a head kick. That will keep Lutter thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Donald lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lutter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Lutter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lutter shoots in looking for a takedown. Donald tries to sprawl out of it but Lutter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Donald manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lutter goes for a double leg but Donald avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Donald continues to drive forward.
Donald's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Donald dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lutter shoots for a takedown but Donald saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Donald fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lutter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lutter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Donald is fending him off so far but Lutter persists. Nope, Donald circles away and we're back to standing.

Lutter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lutter lands in his opponent's guard.

Lutter is looking to take a break and control but Donald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Donald's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lutter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Donald is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Donald is trying to control Lutter's posture but Lutter avoids it.
Lutter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Donald tries to control but Lutter manages to take his back.
Lutter is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Donald with him. Donald is trying to defend but Lutter has an arm under the chin now! Donald grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Travis Lutter tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
