Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gavin (ranked 3640 p4p, 4467 weight class) and Jeremy Crazy (ranked 421 p4p, 496 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jeremy Crazy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Gavin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeremy Crazy!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavin throws a sloppy head kick and Crazy moves out of range easily.
Gavin slaps away a takedown attempt from Crazy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Donk. Gavin catches Crazy right on the button with a cross.
Gavin tries to bum rush Crazy with a series of wild strikes but Crazy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Crazy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gavin sprawls well. Gavin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crazy gets slowly back to his feet.
Gavin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gavin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crazy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crazy takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Decent striking displayed by Gavin there.
Crazy is rocked!
Gavin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Crazy goes for a double leg but Gavin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gavin continues to drive forward.
Tommy Gavin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Crazy.
Gavin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Crazy blocks a leg kick.
Crazy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gavin.
Gavin gets caught napping as Crazy dives in and scores a takedown. Gavin manages to retain guard.
Crazy drops back looking for a leg! Gavin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gavin manages to kick Crazy off! Crazy jumps back into Gavin's guard.
Crazy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crazy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gavin wants to stand and escape but Crazy is having none of it.
Crazy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gavin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gavin has escaped and now he's on top!
Gavin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Gavin wanted to stand there but Crazy had control of the position.
Gavin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Crazy throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Crazy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gavin defends it easily.
Crazy has his foot on Gavin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gavin works his way back into a safe position though.
Crazy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gavin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crazy on the ground.
Gavin is looking to work some ground and pound but Crazy has wrist control.

Gavin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Crazy's guard.
Gavin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Crazy, up you get!
Gavin misses with a leg kick.
Gavin tried to score with a low kick but Crazy checks it.
Crazy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gavin counters with a stiff right hand.
Gavin lands a nice shot that snaps Crazy's head back.
Gavin scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gavin lands with a good body shot.
Gavin throws a head kick that misses.
Gavin scores with a nice right hand.
Crazy is still on wobbly legs! Can Gavin finish him?
Gavin throws a head kick but Crazy moves out of range.
Crazy seems to have recovered his senses.
Donk. Gavin catches Crazy right on the button with a cross.
Gavin lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gavin lands a jab to Crazy's midsection.

The crowd cheers as Gavin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crazy doesn't seem phased though.
Gavin misses with a hook. Crazy ducked under it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Gavin as Crazy shoots in.
Gavin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Crazy doesn't seem bothered though.
Gavin misses with a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gavin. Crazy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crazy feints the counter takedown.
Crazy throws a wild hook but Gavin just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Crazy gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Gavin raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Gavin!
