Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Martinez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucca Burt!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burt jabs Martinez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Martinez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Martinez throws out a leg kick but Burt moves out of range and Martinez only half commits.
Despite the aggression on Burt's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Martinez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Burt lands with a straight right. Martinez didn't see that one coming.
Lucca Burt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Burt.
Burt scores with a decent looking hook.
Burt gets in close and tags Martinez with a short punch that almost sends Martinez to the mat! Oh Martinez is in big trouble! He turns his back on Burt, trying to create some distance but Burt rushes him, striking wildly and Martinez goes down! The referee tackles Burt into the cage to end the fight! Burt is one violent man!
