Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaz Moore (ranked 6498 p4p, 5504 weight class) and Peter Ross (ranked 606 p4p, 565 weight class). Jaz Moore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaz Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Ross!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ross sprawls well. Ross wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Moore gets slowly back to his feet.
As Moore backs off Ross throws a huge counter combo but Moore manages to avoid it all.
Moore shoots in for a takedown but Ross shows good takedown defense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moore shoots in for a double leg but Ross sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Moore tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ross defends well and Moore ends up having to push Ross into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ross drops down looking for an ankle pick but Moore pulls his leg out and moves away.
Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ross's waist but Ross gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side.

Moore closes the distance and clinches up with Ross, looking for a takedown. Moore pushes Ross against the cage but Ross circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Peter Ross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ross drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ross seems to have locked his on tight now - Moore screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ross, as he picks up the win!

Peter Ross very nearly forgot to thank KOMBAT KLOTHING amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
