Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Naulapyssy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Indiana Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Indiana Terrier will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrier misses with a takedown attempt - Naulapyssy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A punch combination from Terrier misses. Naulapyssy throws a sloppy head kick and Terrier moves out of range easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Terrier is trying to drag Naulapyssy to the mat but Naulapyssy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Terrier has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Naulapyssy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Frank Naulapyssy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Indiana Terrier. Naulapyssy wants a takedown but no success here.
Terrier jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Naulapyssy walks away with a smile on his face. Terrier gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Terrier shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Terrier has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Terrier there as he acknowledges the shot. Some wild striking there from Naulapyssy.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Naulapyssy - that will leave a mark!
Terrier shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Terrier was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Naulapyssy working to try and regain half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Naulapyssy tries to hold on but Terrier postures up. Terrier is going olschool here, as he tries to force Naulapyssy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Naulapyssy shrugs it off. Terrier lands with some strikes. Naulapyssy really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Naulapyssy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Terrier on the ground. Terrier is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Naulapyssy is surviving well by controlling Terrier's body position as best he can. Terrier goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Naulapyssy turns into him and now he's in Terrier's guard.
Naulapyssy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Terrier looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Naulapyssy wants to control from the top but Terrier keeps moving. Terrier thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Terrier is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Terrier keeping moving, preventing Naulapyssy from controlling successfully. Terrier is looking for a triangle but Naulapyssy pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Naulapyssy trying to control but Terrier is working from the bottom. Naulapyssy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terrier looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Terrier has his foot on Naulapyssy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Naulapyssy works his way back into a safe position though. Naulapyssy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Terrier works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Naulapyssy trying to control but Terrier is working from the bottom. Terrier throws his legs up looking for a submission but Naulapyssy uses it to pass to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Naulapyssy stands up and we're back to a striking position. Naulapyssy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Naulapyssy trying to control the position from guard on top but Terrier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Terrier has a closed guard, preventing Naulapyssy from standing up. Terrier looking for a guillotine here but Naulapyssy defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Indiana Terrier dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Naulapyssy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Terrier as he avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Naulapyssy or perhaps it was just good defense by Terrier which made him look bad. Terrier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Naulapyssy pinned against the cage. Naulapyssy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Naulapyssy drives through with a takedown into guard. Terrier bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Naulapyssy's guard. Terrier stands and throws Naulapyssy's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Terrier stands up and we're back to a striking position. Terrier shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Naulapyssy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Terrier!
That's one minute gone in the round. Terrier is trying desperately to improve position. Terrier is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Terrier is trying desperately to improve position. Naulapyssy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Terrier because Naulapyssy loaded up on that one. Terrier slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Terrier is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Naulapyssy is tapping! Great win for Terrier!
