Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelly Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joao Perez!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez misses with a right hand
and Williams counters with a crisp one two that drops Perez! Williams thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Perez to his feet! Perez is in big trouble!
Perez is rocked!
Williams goes for a small jab and connects. Now Williams goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Perez stumbles back but Williams runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Perez to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Perez will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kelly Williams!
