The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Petersen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Petersen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Morgan for as long as he can get away with. Morgan surviving as best he can, preventing damage. Petersen is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Morgan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Morgan for a finish.
