Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ortega!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dean.
Ortega thuds a left hand into Dean's body.
A big right from Dean misses.
Ortega moves into the clinch.
Ortega looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ortega prevents Dean from breaking the clinch.
The referee calls for Ortega to work.
Dean is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dean wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dean tries to break free but Ortega pushes him back against the cage.

Ortega lands a shoulder strike.
A left hand lands to the body for Ortega.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ortega pushes Dean back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dean blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Brian Dean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ortega takes the fight into the clinch.
Ortega digs a right hand into Dean's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dean's gas tank.
Ortega goes for a takedown attempt but Dean pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Ortega swings for the body but Dean moves out of range.
Dean keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ortega dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dean takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dean throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dean loads up on a big right hand but Ortega slips the punch.
Ortega connects with a body shot.
Ortega closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dean! Ortega dives in looking to finish! Dean is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Ortega!
