Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from gasiom.
gasiom looks to land a combination but Murray avoids it well.
gasiom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
gasiom looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
gasiom misses with a jab, cross combination.
gasiom tries to bum rush Murray with a series of wild strikes but Murray uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice sprawl there from gasiom as Murray shoots in.
gasiom fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice takedown defense from gasiom. No joy for Murray on that attempt.

Murray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Murray lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Murray has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
gasiom tries to bum rush Murray with a series of wild strikes but Murray uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Murray forces gasiom back against the cage and clinches.
gasiom goes for a takedown attempt but Murray pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Murray shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Murray controlling the pace for now.
Murray working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. gasiom turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Murray off and cradles gasiom's limp body as Murray celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Gordon Murray!
