Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rahim Shabazz (ranked 639 p4p, 848 weight class) and Frank Granger (ranked 16 p4p, 21 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rahim Shabazz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rahim Shabazz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rahim Shabazz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Granger!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shabazz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Granger digs a good body shot into Shabazz's ribs.
Granger has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Granger slips a jab from Shabazz.
A nice side step and Granger releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Granger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Granger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shabazz throws out the jab.
Shabazz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Granger takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Granger clobbers Shabazz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Granger connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shabazz. Shabazz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shabazz is looking to score with low kicks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shabazz on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Granger wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shabazz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A jab from Granger misses.
Shabazz moves out of range of the strikes.
Granger misses with a body shot.
Shabazz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Granger.
Granger connects with a jab.
Shabazz throws a head kick but Granger moves out of range.
Granger throws out a counter right but Shabazz avoids it with no problem.
Granger scores with a jab to the body.
Granger scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shabazz doesn't seem bothered though.

Granger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shabazz moves away.
Granger slips a jab from Shabazz.
Granger avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Shabazz throws a big shot that misses.
Shabazz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shabazz swings for the body but Granger moves out of range.
Shabazz walks into a jab.
Granger attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Shabazz misses with a head kick.
Shabazz takes one to the chin there.
Granger stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Granger scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Granger is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shabazz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Granger lands a big uppercut and Shabazz crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shabazz looks OK. Granger waves Shabazz back to his feet!
Shabazz is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Shabazz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Granger sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Shabazz's defenses. It connects perfectly with Shabazz's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Granger!
