And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Mikhailov.
Dollars bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Dollars misses with a takedown attempt - Mikhailov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice takedown defense from Mikhailov. No joy for Dollars on that attempt.

A frustrated look appears on Dollars's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Dollars pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mikhailov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dollars did well to prevent Mikhailov getting side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dollars is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mikhailov scores with a couple of nice shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mikhailov lands a nice short elbow.
Dollars is still in real trouble! Can Mikhailov finish him?

Mikhailov is looking to pass Dollars's guard but actually Dollars recovers to full guard.
Mikhailov loads up on a big left hand. Dollars felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mikhailov looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Dollars can't hide his disappointment, as Mikhailov celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexei Mikhailov!
