Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lynton Miller (ranked 175 p4p, 436 weight class) and Jason Stackhouse (ranked 32 p4p, 66 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Tool - Sober. Stackhouse is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by True Blood. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Lynton Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Stackhouse ! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stackhouse takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Stackhouse throws a right hand that misses
and Miller counters with a takedown into side control. Miller is chipping away with strikes.
Miller throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Stackhouse works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We've been hearing that Miller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Stackhouse pushes Miller off looking to stand but Miller dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Stackhouse avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miller. Stackhouse is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well. Miller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Miller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stackhouse defending well though. Nice strikes from Miller there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stackhouse manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Miller keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Miller lands a left hand.
Stackhouse 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Miller lands on the inside with an uppercut. Miller gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Stackhouse regains guard.
Miller with a nice head shot there. Miller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Stackhouse wants to stand but Miller is controlling the position. Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Stackhouse has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller throwing strikes from guard but Stackhouse blocks nicely. Miller sitting in guard, not really doing much. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stackhouse swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stackhouse keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Stackhouse is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. This has been an exciting period of action! Stackhouse wants to stall.

Miller has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stackhouse after a bit of a struggle. Stackhouse is pressed up against the cage. Miller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stackhouse down to the mat. Stackhouse avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Stackhouse misses with a hook. Miller drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stackhouse sprawls and moves away. Stackhouse is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.
A head kick misses from Stackhouse . Stackhouse sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Stackhouse shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jason Stackhouse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stackhouse throws a jab when Miller was well out of range. Miller clinches with his opponent.

Miller throws a punch but it's blocked by Stackhouse . Miller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stackhouse pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lynton Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stackhouse swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Miller swats away the attempt to clinch by Stackhouse . Miller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stackhouse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miller moves away. Stackhouse connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Lynton Miller has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stackhouse throws a low kick but Miller avoids it. Stackhouse throws a leg kick which misses Miller's front leg but catches the back leg as Miller tries to avoid it. Stackhouse tries to clinch up but Miller circles away and keeps his distance. Stackhouse misses with a looping left. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Stackhouse swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We're back to striking at a distance. Jason Stackhouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Stackhouse throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Stackhouse is looking to clinch. Miller appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Lynton Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stackhouse is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well. Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stackhouse 's head. Miller wants to control but Stackhouse is keeping him busy. Miller working the head and body with strikes.

Stackhouse avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Stackhouse throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Miller appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jason Stackhouse seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stackhouse throws a nice outside leg kick. Stackhouse takes a swing at Miller's ribcage but misses. Stackhouse throws a leg kick but Miller sees it coming and checks it nicely. Stackhouse fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A lazy body kick from Stackhouse and Miller counters with a single leg into guard. Stackhouse didn't expect that. Miller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Miller works over Stackhouse with some ground and pound from guard. Miller sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jason Stackhouse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Miller is working Stackhouse over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Stackhouse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stackhouse is fighting to break Miller's control of his arms but Miller is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Stackhouse is looking to stand up but Miller won't let him. Miller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stackhouse manages to get himself to full guard.
Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Stackhouse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller has Stackhouse pulled in close to control his posture. Lynton Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stackhouse must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller continues to stall. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stackhouse loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jason Stackhouse . I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
