Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Parta Matti (ranked 850 p4p, 1044 weight class) and Derwent Bolt (ranked 25 p4p, 28 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Parta Matti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derwent Bolt!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolt misses with a takedown attempt - Matti sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

enabling Matti to counter with a crisp jab.

As Bolt looks to move away, Matti throws a big counter combo but Bolt just gets out of the way.
Matti defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bolt.
Matti appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Matti displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bolt.
Parta Matti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derwent Bolt.
Matti swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bolt dives in for a single leg takedown but Matti sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bolt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Matti sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bolt somewhat.

We've been told by Matti's head coaches at FF Forever that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Matti lands a nice hook to Bolt's body. Bolt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bolt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Matti on his heels. He'll look to pass Matti's guard now, I'm sure.
Bolt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bolt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Matti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bolt.

Derwent Bolt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Matti holds on and takes a little breather.
Matti continues to stall.
Bolt is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bolt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matti manages to avoid it.

Bolt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A quick step to the side and Matti tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bolt lands a glancing blow to the side of Matti's head.
Parta Matti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Matti throws a hook to the side of Bolt's head but Bolt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Matti looks to land a combination but Bolt avoids it well.
Bolt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Matti displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bolt.
Matti went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Matti tests Bolt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bolt is rocked!
Parta Matti is winning the standup battle so far.
Bolt doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Matti counters with a right hand from hell and Bolt is out cold! A vicious knockout!

A relieved looking Parta Matti thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
