Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pete Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddy Hideki!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Hideki shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Eddy Hideki has been cut.
Hideki walks into a straight right hand from Silva.
Hideki tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Hideki's head but Hideki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hideki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Hideki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hideki is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Silva!
Silva bucks Hideki off and manages to get back to his feet!
Hideki walks into a straight right hand from Silva.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hideki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Pete Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Hideki.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
Hideki looks gassed!
Hideki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva dips to his left and cracks Hideki with an uppercut!
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva throws an overhand right that drops Hideki like a sack of potatoes! Silva dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
