Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Narcissus Gustav (ranked 4839 p4p, 4030 weight class) and Nikolay Sokolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gustav sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Gustav throws a leg kick but Sokolov checks it.
Sokolov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gustav tries to avoid it but Sokolov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gustav to the ground. Gustav escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sokolov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gustav to the ground. Sokolov is now in Gustav's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sokolov wants to control from the top but Gustav keeps moving.
Sokolov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sokolov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sokolov is looking to work some ground and pound but Gustav has wrist control.
Gustav is looking to stand up but Sokolov isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sokolov distracts Gustav with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sokolov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sokolov looks up at the clock and then as Gustav takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sokolov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
