Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gemechu McKraken (ranked 217 p4p, 518 weight class) and Murzol Gro Ulfimph (ranked 10 p4p, 29 weight class). Gro Ulfimph has chosen Have a banana as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Gemechu McKraken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 17 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Murzol Gro Ulfimph! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Gro Ulfimph misses. Gro Ulfimph misses with a leg kick. Gro Ulfimph throws a front kick aimed at McKraken's knee but McKraken avoids it well. Murzol Gro Ulfimph seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for McKraken with that takedown attempt. Gro Ulfimph misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McKraken.
McKraken changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Jab from Gro Ulfimph. McKraken cracks a nice hook into Gro Ulfimph's ribs. Gro Ulfimph tries to land a body kick and McKraken counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gro Ulfimph tries to get to full guard but McKraken has control of the leg. Gro Ulfimph looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McKraken wants to free his trapped foot but Gro Ulfimph is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKraken looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McKraken is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gro Ulfimph doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McKraken. Gro Ulfimph has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McKraken is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McKraken is trying to work for a kimura but Gro Ulfimph is defending well.
Gro Ulfimph tries to roll over but McKraken keeps him under control. Gro Ulfimph is trying to control but can't.
McKraken is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

McKraken sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Gro Ulfimph doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! McKraken paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gro Ulfimph - great work!
