Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kuol Riak (ranked 4825 p4p, 4773 weight class) and Pepetinho Perez (ranked 414 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kuol Riak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pepetinho Perez!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Riak takes a swing at Perez's ribcage but misses.
Riak throws out a loose jab but Perez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Riak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Perez sprawls well initially but Riak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Perez is looking to escape.
Riak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Still in half guard, Riak seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perez wants to control but Riak is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Perez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Riak pinned against the cage. Riak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Riak tries to clinch up but Perez circles away and keeps his distance.

Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riak swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kuol Riak showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Riak has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Kuol Riak was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
