A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dwrute is defended easily by Jarrow. Dwrute shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Dwrute thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jarrow's head. Dwrute will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dwrute is taking a breather. Jarrow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jarrow is trying to get back to full guard. Well, if Dwrute is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jarrow feints and as Dwrute raises his hands in defense, Jarrow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Schight Dwrute. Well Dwrute has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Percy O'Donnell scores the fight 10:9 Judge Frank Antenori scores the fight 10:9 Judge Don Winkell scores the fight 10:9
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Schight Dwrute! A very excited looking Schight Dwrute rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
