Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verreira looks to score with a jab to the body but Mediocre is just out of range.
It seemed like Mediocre was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mediocre slips under a jab.
As Verreira backs off Mediocre throws a huge counter combo but Verreira manages to avoid it all.
Verreira has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Verreira misses with a few strikes there.
Mediocre uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Verreira.
Verreira throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mediocre counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Verreira has managed to clinch.

Verreira manages to break the clinch.
Mediocre takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mediocre connects with a good right hand that stumbles Verreira. Verreira circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Verreira gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mediocre counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Verreira fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mediocre looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Verreira throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Verreira throws a body punch but Mediocre moves out of range.
Vinicius Verreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Verreira shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Oh Verreira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mediocre lands a brutal head kick. Verreira looks out on his feet and Mediocre throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Mister Mediocre thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
