Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Akuma Manivong!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haden throws out a loose jab but Manivong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Haden has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Manivong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
ZaDarius Haden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haden just misses with a punch to the body.
Haden stuffs the takedown.
Manivong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Manivong steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haden.
Manivong appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Manivong has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Manivong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haden can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
