Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Valchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that James Smith has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily James Smith seems to be OK! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valchenko misses with a head kick.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Valchenko.
Valchenko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valchenko shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Valchenko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
James Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Valchenko.
Nice defenses there by Smith.
Valchenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away.
Smith misses with a leg kick.
Smith lands with a nice combination. Valchenko backs away looking to recover.
Smith tries to bum rush Valchenko with a series of wild strikes but Valchenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Valchenko shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Smith moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Igor Valchenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith drops Valchenko with a straight right hand, right on the button! Smith follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
