Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bethania Valverde (ranked 2693 p4p, 1252 weight class) and Mad Hatter (ranked 147 p4p, 73 weight class). Valverde's entrance music is LLAMAME YA. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bethania Valverde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Hatter!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatter throws the left hand but Valverde avoids the punch easily.
Valverde misses with a straight left.
Hatter throws out a counter right but Valverde avoids it with no problem.
Hatter misses with a hook
and Valverde cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hatter takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hatter ducks under a wild hook from Valverde.
Hatter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Valverde.
Valverde moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hatter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Valverde is rocked!
It looks like Bethania Valverde has been cut.
Valverde thumps Hatter with a low kick.
Valverde throws a lazy right hand but Hatter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A little jabbing left from Hatter on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hatter misses with a looping right.
Hatter drops Valverde with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Valverde looks back up at him and smiles so Hatter waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Valverde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hatter fakes the body blow, causing Valverde to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Valverde goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mad Hatter!
