Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnaud Coleman (ranked 2747 p4p, 2823 weight class) and Andrei Baltaretu (ranked 353 p4p, 365 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Baltaretu's choice of entrance music: 50 Cent - In Da Club. Andrei Baltaretu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arnaud Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Baltaretu!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Coleman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Coleman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Baltaretu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Baltaretu looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Coleman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baltaretu wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving.
Baltaretu working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coleman's head.
Coleman pushes Baltaretu off and gets back to his feet.
A nice combination there by Coleman.
It looks like Andrei Baltaretu has been cut.
Baltaretu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Coleman defends well and Baltaretu ends up having to push Coleman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Baltaretu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Coleman keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Baltaretu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coleman kicks Baltaretu off and gets back to his feet.
Coleman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Baltaretu has time to react.
Baltaretu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coleman as he avoids it easily.
Baltaretu dives in for a single leg takedown but Coleman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Arnaud Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Baltaretu.
Baltaretu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Coleman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Baltaretu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Baltaretu tries to move into range but Coleman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Coleman lands an overhand right.
Baltaretu dives in for a single leg takedown but Coleman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Coleman throws the left hand but Baltaretu avoids the punch easily.
Baltaretu has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Baltaretu drives through with a takedown into Coleman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Baltaretu is looking to work some ground and pound but Coleman has wrist control.

Baltaretu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Coleman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Coleman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Baltaretu throws a strike but Coleman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Coleman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Baltaretu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Coleman is looking to defend but Baltaretu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Coleman! Baltaretu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Coleman taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Andrei Baltaretu!
Post fight, Andrei Baltaretu took to the microphone: 'Im not surprised motherfuckers!'.
In defeat, Arnaud Coleman stepped up to the mic, saying 'my skills aren't there but my heart is.'.
