Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Barella (ranked 3406 p4p, 3067 weight class) and Middle Bear (ranked 179 p4p, 166 weight class). Sonny Barella is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Bear Necessities

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sonny Barella!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Middle Bear!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barella throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Bear on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Barella tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Barella takes the fight into the clinch.
Bear tries to score a body lock takedown but Barella shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bear wants the takedown. Barella is fighting it off but Bear persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Barella's guard against the cage.

Barella manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Bear is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A short uppercut from Barella.

Barella jumps into guard, dragging Bear to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barella is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bear looking to pass the guard.

Bear is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bear has gone for a leg lock! Barella slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bear's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bear is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Barella rolls with it to try and escape but Bear cranks on the arm and Barella is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Middle Bear!
Middle Bear bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
