Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carey Bolden (ranked 24903 p4p, 5622 weight class) and Christian Silalahi (ranked 655 p4p, 575 weight class). The key to victory for Carey Bolden has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carey Bolden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Silalahi! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolden fails with a takedown attempt. Silalahi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silalahi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bolden. Silalahi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silalahi wants it to stay on the feet. Bolden takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Silalahi has managed to clinch.
Silalahi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bolden prevents it.
Silalahi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bolden fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carey Bolden. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silalahi throws a body punch but Bolden moves out of range. Silalahi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bolden tries to clinch up. Silalahi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bolden drops his hands momentarily and Silalahi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Carey Bolden has been cut. Bolden tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolden tries to clinch but Silalahi is having none of it. A decent looking cross lands there for Bolden. A head kick misses from Silalahi. Bolden tries to clinch but fails miserably and Silalahi counters with a left to the body. Bolden shoots in but Silalahi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bolden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bolden has closed the distance and engaged Silalahi in a clinch.
Silalahi is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Bolden is breathing heavily. A hook to the body from Silalahi.
Silalahi scores with an uppercut up the middle. Silalahi wants the takedown. Bolden is fighting it off but Silalahi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bolden's guard against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Silalahi sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silalahi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bolden, up you get! Silalahi misses with a head kick.
Silalahi lands a big head kick that sends Bolden tumbling to the mat! Silalahi takes a step backwards and waves Bolden back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bolden is rocked! Silalahi lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Bolden crumples to the floor! Silalahi milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
