Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeno Christ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Conny Ponny!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponny looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Christ gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ponny is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ponny takes one on the button.
That kick from Ponny tenderised Christ's leg. Christ is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ponny throws a lazy right hand but Christ sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Christ fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ponny looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ponny drives through and clinches with Christ against the cage.
Ponny can't find room to land a body shot as Christ controls the action.
Ponny misses with a body punch.
Ponny effectively controlling the action here.
Ponny will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Christ up against the cage.
Ponny takes a shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ponny digs a right hand into Christ's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Christ's gas tank.
Christ dodges an elbow strike from Ponny.
Ponny prevents Christ from breaking the clinch.
Christ throws a head punch that misses.
Christ lands a body punch in the clinch.
Ponny struggles to land a body shot inside as Christ controls his hands.

Christ breaks from the clinch.
Ponny ducks under a wild hook from Christ.
Christ blocks a head kick by Ponny.
Christ fails to land with a series of punches.
Christ misses with a hook. Ponny ducked under it nicely.
Ponny throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ponny missing with a left hand there. Christ was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ponny throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Christ cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

and Christ scores with a counter punch that sends Ponny to the canvas! Christ smells blood - he's punishing Ponny with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ponny has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
