Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Fuller (ranked 3065 p4p, 5199 weight class) and Fergus Archer (ranked 389 p4p, 561 weight class). Fergus Archer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ty Fuller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ty Fuller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fergus Archer! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fuller on the side of the head. We've been informed that Archer has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Fuller looks to score with a jab to the body but Archer is just out of range. Archer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fuller uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Archer. Fuller tries a head kick but it misses.

Fuller staying out of range there. Archer throws a hook but Fuller blocks it. Archer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Archer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fuller slips a jab from Archer. Fuller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Archer did well to prevent Fuller getting side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ground and pound from Fuller. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fuller is nestled in close to Archer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fuller is looking to advance position but Archer won't allow it. Fuller scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Fuller looks to land a strike but Archer avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuller working some strikes from top position. Archer has momentary wrist control but Fuller slips an elbow through the middle. Archer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fuller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fuller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Archer looks winded! Fuller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Archer's head. Fuller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Archer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fuller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fuller connects with a couple of short punches. Fuller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Fuller is in close to Archer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Fuller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Fuller scoring with some ground and pound. Fuller postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Fuller looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuller scoring with some ground and pound. Fuller works over Archer with some ground and pound from guard. Archer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fuller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fuller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fuller lands a couple of elbows.
Archer is rocked! Fuller controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Archer is still in real trouble! Can Fuller finish him? Fuller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fuller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Archer seems to have recovered his senses. Fuller postures up and lands a big shot to Archer's brow. Fuller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuller distracts Archer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fuller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fuller arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Archer's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ty Fuller! A very excited looking Ty Fuller made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
