The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

The crowd cheers as Stevenson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pudzianowski doesn't seem phased though.

Pudzianowski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Pudzianowski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stevenson.
Stevenson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pudzianowski as he jumps to the side.
Pudzianowski tries to work over Stevenson's front leg with a kick but Stevenson checks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stevenson is fighting to break Pudzianowski's control of his arms but Pudzianowski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Stevenson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pudzianowski is proving hard to escape from.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pudzianowski working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Pudzianowski drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pudzianowski as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Stevenson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pudzianowski! Nice submission victory there!
